1. Search Agnostic Technology

WhereToMovie acts as a specialized search engine. We do not host any content ourselves. Instead, we search public indexes (like YTS, PirateBay, Himovies) in real-time to find the best links for you. Think of us as Google, but specifically for finding high-quality movie links.

2. Streaming vs. Downloading

Downloading (Torrents)

Best for highest quality (4K/1080p). You need a torrent client (like qBittorrent) to download these files. Always use a VPN to protect your privacy when downloading torrents.

Streaming

Best for convenience. Click and play immediately in your browser. Streaming sites often have lower quality than downloads and may have popup ads (we try to filter these, but some are unavoidable).

3. Safety Tips

  • Use a VPN: It hides your IP address from your ISP and copyright trolls.
  • Use an AdBlocker: Essential when visiting streaming sites to avoid malicious popups.
  • Check File Sizes: A 1080p movie should be 1.5GB+. If it's 50MB, it's fake/malware.
